Aquatic flame, natural disposition, vernacular utility. Serpentinite hand-picked from the San Francisco Bay. This stone has been carved and hollowed out to create a small burning chamber.

“Floating” Carrara marble tray included.

This piece will inevitably darken, even blacken over time with use from smoke. Also, direct contact of burning incense may discolor the marble tray- a metal dish is included to serve as a burning surface. Sand or rice may also be used in a thin layer.
